This afternoon, AC Milan’s Primavera were denied a win in the dying embers of the game. A frustrating one, especially with what could have been.
The Primavera have been struggling recently, and there can be no hiding from that. Their last win came in October, and whilst it was a thrilling one at that, its value has decreased due to the results since.
In fact, today’s draw means it is now almost two months since the last victory.
Match report
Things were quite balanced in the first 15 minutes, with both teams coming forward. However, it seemed that Bologna would be the more likely of the two teams to score. It was not to be, though, as Simone Lontani scored a beauty in the 24th minute.
It seemed like the Rossoblu were going to equalise shortly after, but the Diavolo held on well and saw the game through to half-time.
The second half started well for the young Rossoneri, and the first big chance of the half went their way, with Lontani almost making it 2-0. But things did not last, with Bologna replying instantly with a great chance of their own, which N’Diaye missed.
After an onslaught from the hosts, they finally got their reward two minutes from full-time, equalising in the 93rd minute. A real punch to the gut, and the search for a win continues.
