Contract renewals have been a hot topic for Milan in recent months. Granted that it always seems to be the case, the matter has been fuelled this time out by Mike Maignan’s situation, as the goalkeeper could leave on a free transfer in the summer.

Milan obviously want to keep the star goalkeeper, and there seems to be some sort of optimism, but it remains an uphill battle. In addition to the Frenchman, a renewal for Rafael Leao has been discussed, while Fikayo Tomori and Alexis Saelemaekers are talking to the club as well.
