Bonus Podcast with Oliver and Anthony: Milan’s wage bill breakdown

With the summer window now closed, Oli and Anthony dissect AC Milan’s 2025-26 salaries and look into the trend under RedBird’s ownership.

Now that Milan have completed their signings and sales on the mercato, we know the total wage bill for the season. As per our calculations, it amounts to around €97m gross, which is actually less than the wage bill for the 2024-25 season (around €104m gross).

A lot of players have been sold, and the squad has less depth than last season, so it makes sense that the figure has decreased. Some late movements also helped out in that sense, such as Dinamo Zagreb covering part of Ismael Bennacer’s salary and Yacine Adli leaving for Saudi Arabia.

In the latest bonus podcast episode, Oliver and Anthony sat down to discuss the wage bill. They mainly looked at the top ten earners, sharing their thoughts on these, but they also looked at the total amount and what that means for Milan.
