Liverpool has been handed a major injury blow after Alisson Becker was forced off during the second half of the Reds' Champions League clash against Galatasaray.
The goalkeeper went off injured after making a save to deny Victor Osimhen, after Ibrahima Konate's poor pass to Ryan Gravenberch had played his side into danger.
Having made the save though, Alisson stayed down and required treatment before he eventually made his way off the pitch to be replaced by Giorgi Mamardashvili. There is no word yet on how serious the Brazilian's injury might be, but he has suffered from other problems that have resulted in long lay-offs in recent years.
