Tottenham Hotspur head coach Igor Tudor was informed of the death of his father, Mario, after Sunday's 3-0 loss to Nottingham Forest.
The Spurs boss missed media duties following the defeat in north London due to an 'immediate family bereavement'. Now, Tudor's former club, Juventus, have confirmed the passing of his father in a message to the Croatian.
They wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "We are close to Igor Tudor and his family. Juventus joins in the grief for the passing of his father." football.london reported quickly after the disappointing result against Forest that Tudor was relieved of his press conference duties.

Bruno Saltor spoke to reporters instead and provided an update on his colleague. "It's a personal family issue and obviously it's a difficult moment for him. I'm just trying to support the best way we can."
Spurs suffered a damaging defeat against their relegation rivals, with Forest now ahead of them in the Premier League table. The defeat raised more concerns over a potential relegation to the Championship for Tottenham, with them now going 13 matches without a league win.
"The players got affected by the rhythm of the game and we couldn't find that rhythm to create more chances," Saltor said. "The first half, the first 44 minutes I thought were good, really good, creating chances, getting into the box. In the second half, probably, we were unable to deal with the weight of the game."
"I think in the small details, I thought for 44 minutes in the first half we were the better team," added Saltor, who held a similar role in the dugout during Graham Potter's spell in charge at Chelsea.
