Club Brugge coach Nicky Hayen was asked about the future of Ardon Jashari on Sunday evening, following AC Milan’s interest in signing the player.
Milan have been pushing for Jashari’s arrival for several weeks now and the player is doing his best as well, resulting in a rather difficult situation. The midfielder still hasn’t returned to training with Club Brugge, with many believing that he’s ready to force a move to the Rossoneri.
However, ahead of the Belgian Supercup earlier this evening, the Brugge manager Hayen was asked about Jashari and made it clear that he should return to training on Monday. At least that’s the plan, though the situation remains ‘complex’.
“The situation is very clear. He should return to training on Monday. However, in football, things can be very difficult and this is a really complex situation. But I have full confidence that the club will handle the situation correctly. In any case, we’ll see how it ends,” he told DAZN (via MilanNews).
As reported by Matteo Moretto earlier today, Milan are still stuck at €32.5m plus bonuses while the Belgian side would like to get a little more. The Rossoneri had been hoping that the player’s will would be enough to seal the deal but as things stand, anything can happen.
