Caprile states ‘it’s nice’ to be linked to Milan and other clubs: “I dream”

AC Milan are one of several clubs looking at young Italian goalkeeper Elia Caprile, and today, he has spoken about the links.

With Mike Maignan’s situation, there are going to be a lot of targets suggested over the next few months. Whether he extends or not, the links are probable until there is a definitive outcome, and even then, his departure being confirmed may only step up links.

In the past 18 months, several names have been put forward, which is no surprise. However, one name keeps popping up at the moment, and that is Caprile, the Italian goalkeeper currently playing for Cagliari.

At 24 years old, he is one of the most promising goalkeepers in Europe and will be one of Cagliari’s biggest hopes at avoiding relegation this season, which is a lingering possibility. Today, he spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport about his situation, the interest and even Gianluigi Donnarumma, as MilanPress relayed.

“It’s nice to be linked to top clubs. But my focus is on Cagliari, I’m focused on helping everyone achieve safety.”
