Arsenal are willing to listen to offers for Gabriel Martinello, according to a report, and AC Milan have been alerted by the news.
CaughtOffside cite ‘sources close to the agent industry’ in claiming that Arsenal could be allowed to leave Arsenal, despite the fact that he was ‘once hailed as a cornerstone’ of Mikel Arteta’s project, especially after a 15-goal season in 2022-23.
He has not been as consistency in the campaigns that have followed, and the signing of Noni Madueke seems to have put his starting spot in jeopardy.
Milan keen on Martinelli
Arsenal apparently wanted £60m to consider selling Martinelli during the window that has just closed, which is just short of €70m. However, the teams that were interested did not see a reason to pay more than £40m (€46m) so things never went anywhere.

The report adds that Milan are ‘particularly interested’ in the Brazilian, because they are ‘bracing for the possible departure of Rafael Leão’. Martinelli’s contract expires in 2027 but with an option for an additional year, so they have leverage in negotiations.
In the coming window, Arsenal are looking to sign Real Madrid’s Rodrygo but he would command a fee of around €100m and a salary in excess of €10m per year. If that is to become realistic, then they need to cash on on Martinelli, especially after signing Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke.
It must be noted that there have been no reports suggesting Leao wants to leave Milan or even that a club has put in an offer that would be considered, plus his deal expires in 2028 so there is no urgent deadline.
