CF: Milan’s 2025-26 wage bill broken down – highest earners and where new signings rank

With the transfer window mainly done, we can now finally take a look at the financial picture of AC Milan for this season.

There, of course, can be more signings made in January, but for now, Milan are a finished article. Though some players can still leave, with a few European and Asian markets still open for a few days longer.

Ismael Bennacer, as confirmed this morning, has left for GNK Dinamo, and maybe he will not be the last.

Milan’s wages

Regardless of that, Calcio e Finanza have taken a look at the Rossoneri’s wage bill for the upcoming season. The most important figure is the total wages paid, and the club have seen a slight decrease, though this was to be expected.

Without Europe, a lot of bonuses will drop, and there isn’t as much room to have a massive wage budget. So, last season, there was around €69.7 million paid in net salaries, whereas this season it is only €63.9m. Though there is only a €0.6m difference in gross salaries.

For what it is worth, this figure also includes the €4m salary of Ismael Bennacer, who departed this morning, pending a medical.

Rafael Leao is no longer the highest earner, with Adrien Rabiot and Christopher Nkunku also in the same wage bracket; the trio will earn €5m this season. Then, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic and Divock Origi each earn €4m.

In terms of the other new boys, the wages are not too bad. Luka Modric will earn €3.5m, Ardon Jashari, Samuele Ricci and Pervis Estupinan €2.5m, Koni De Winter will earn €1.7m, whilst Zachary Athekame and David Odogu will earn €1m and €0.8m, respectively.
