Alejandro Garnacho could start for Chelsea against Manchester United, if the club's cryptic social media post is anything to go off.
The Argentinian winger secured a last-minute move from the Red Devils to Stamford Bridge this summer to the tune of £40million, after a summer of discontent in the north west.
And Garnacho may have the opportunity to show United his true potential that they failed to unlock during his turbulent tenure on Saturday evening.
That's because Chelsea released a pre-match poster on their social media channels featuring Garnacho's face, captioned: "Old Trafford, here we come," accompanied by an emoji of a face blowing smoke from its nostrils.
The 21-year-old has seemingly settled into life in the English capital well since his move this summer, despite suffering slight teething problems. He made his debut in a 2-2 draw with Brentford last weekend, playing a part in Chelsea's goal to go 2-1 up before losing track of Fabio Carvalho in the box to allow the Bees to clinch a last-minute equaliser.
He was also deployed from the bench during Chelsea's 3-1 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday evening, with an own-goal from Trevoh Chalobah and a Harry Kane brace cancelling out Cole Palmer's inspiring and practically-solo goal.
However, Chelsea remain unbeaten in the Premier League this season with two wins and two draws to their name, and will hope to remedy their poor record at Old Trafford, having not won there since 2013.
As for Garnacho, he will certainly hope to show his former club what they could have had should Ruben Amorim have kept faith in him. The Carrington academy product was infamously dropped from United's Europa League final against Tottenham in May, and was quick to show his thoughts on Amorim's decision after suffering a 1-0 loss to the Lilywhites.
He said: "Obviously it's hard for everyone. Our season was s***. We didn't beat anyone in the league. We lacked a lot of things. When you don't score goals, you always need more.
"Until we reached the final, I played every round. And I played 20 minutes today… I don't know. I'm going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next."
Garnacho was told he was free to leave the club during the summer break, before securing a move to Chelsea as the transfer window slammed shut. And while he will hope to be a part of Enzo Maresca's starting XI when the Blues face Manchester United, he will be faced with stiff competition for his place.
That's because Chelsea have a wealth of wingers to utilise this term, with Pedro Neto, Estevao and Jamie Gittens also vying for their place as starters. Manchester United play host to Chelsea t 5:30pm at Old Trafford.
