Chelsea legend Terry states Modric is ‘arriving at the right moment’: “A great club like Milan”

John Terry, outside Milan Malpensa airport, spoke about the imminent arrival of Luka Modric, and what he can bring to AC Milan.

This morning, journalists have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Croatian midfielder, who should land shortly. Following that he will head to different locations to finish his move, before heading to Casa Milan to sign on the dotted line.

However, he was not the first person to be intercepted by journalists. No, instead, John Terry, the legendary Chelsea defender was caught arriving at the airport, and he spoke to journalists including our colleague, Luca Maninetti.

‘One of my favourites’

As he posted on his X account, the defender took a few questions from journalists, speaking about the importance of the move, and the impact he could have.

“Modric is a fantastic player. He is one of the best ever. He is a big name, joining a great club like AC Milan, one of my favourites in Italy. He can bring experience, arriving at the right moment.”

Massimiliano Allegri and Igli Tare will be happy to hear another glowing review from a former professional, more so someone as established as the former England man.
