After being defeated at Bayern Munich in matchday one, there is added pressure for Chelsea to get a positive result this evening. Likewise, Benfica were beaten on MD1, with Qarabag pulling off one of the shocks of the week by beating the Portuguese side 3-2 away from home.
Maresca is without a host of key players for tonight's match and is also sweating on the fitness of Joao Pedro, Moises Caicedo and Andrey Santos, who he conceded yesterday were a doubt for the game.
