Even though the 2025-26 season is not even at the halfway point yet, leaked information about the kits for the next campaign is emerging.
Generally speaking, it feels as though the shirts for the current season have been well received. The home shirt is more of a classic look (though the monochrome badge was divisive) while the return of the ‘Diavoletto’ was welcomed on the away shirt, and the Brazil-esque third kit is the best seller.
As always happens though, leaks are beginning to surface about how the shirts will look for next season, and Milan are no exception to this. So, what do we know so far?
A throwback home look
In the past few years, Puma have been more experimental with their designs for the Milan home shirt, with varying stripe widths and even patterns within them. However, it seems that next season’s home shirt will be made with a more tradition al design in mind.
As Footy Headlines reports, the kit will feature ‘wide, classic stripes’ which take inspiration from the late designs from the 1990s, particularly the Adidas kit from the 1998-99 season when the Rossoneri won the Scudetto.
White details will be used the detailing, whilst the kit, of course, will have the red and black stripes. We have seen white detailing in the past two seasons, with the collar and sleeves last season, and with the badge itself this year.

A return to the gold
According to the same source, the Milan 2026-27 away shirt will feature one of the classic traits, but with a bit of a twist.
They claim that the shirt will have a white base with gold and black accents, offering ‘a luxurious twist’ on the usual all-white affair. It will be the first time since 2016-17 that gold detailing will be part of Milan’s away shirt, when the manufacturer was Adidas.
As mentioned, kit will once again feature the club’s classic white base, which has been a tradition used almost every season. However, PUMA want to create ‘a sophisticated and premium look’ by adding some accents.

A brand new scheme
This season, Milan have sported a vibrant yellow, green and red third shirt, and it seems that PUMA will go in a different direction for next season.
As reported by Footy Headlines again, next season’s kit will be ‘charcoal grey’ to give a ‘modern and slightly futuristic aesthetic’. Red, as would be expected, will be used as an accent for the logos and various elements of the shirt.
It is worth noting that the 2024-25 third kit features a ‘similar shade’ to the kit which is being prepared by PUMA for next season, and it certainly looks to be a little lighter from the image which is given with the news.
The maker, as the report states, are using an ‘original’ colour scheme next season for this kit, so it is unlikely to be like what we have seen before and will be where they experiment the most.
