Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi has once again expressed a desire to join his boyhood club AC Milan in the future.
Tresoldi has never hidden his deep attachment to Milan, revealing in previous interviews that he one day would love to play for the club that he grew up supporting, and even came to watch recently at San Siro. If he keeps going on his current path, it might not be too far-fetched.
During an exclusive interview with MilanNews conducted by Alessandro Schiavone, the former Hannover striker spoke about his passion for Milan, his friendship with Rafael Leao and more.
We saw you were at San Siro, did you ask Leao for the photo or did Leao ask you?
“(Smiles) I asked him! I’m a big Rafa fan, it was nice and unexpected to find him there. I had to ask him, I couldn’t go home without it.”
Would you like to play with him one day?
“In my last few years as a Milan fan, I grew up with people like Leao, so he’s an idol for me. Let’s just say that when I met him, I was a little nervous, I was sweating a little (laughs). In any case, for me, Rafa is like an idol. Obviously, I’d like to play with him.”
When Pippo Inzaghi played for AC Milan, you were just a kid. Where did this passion for him come from?
“My father played with Pippo in the U21s. As a Milan fan, I’ve always watched videos of him, and even at home my parents always told me about him. I managed to see a few of him, and I grew up with Pippo as my idol. I want to steal a few details from strong players like him…”
Would you like to meet him?
“I’d really like… A photo, a chat.”

Speaking of Milan, how do you feel about the Scudetto race? Is it feasible?
“Anything is possible in football. With the purchase of Fullkrug, who’s from Hannover – I’m from Hannover like him – I was really pleased he went there, and I think he can do very, very well, maybe even help Milan win the Scudetto.”
Will we see you at Milan one day?
“Let’s see (laughs). I’m having great experiences here, I’m preparing, I’m improving so that one day I can achieve my dreams. That’s my dream.”
Would Milan be the best for you, even better than Real Madrid and Manchester City?
“For me, the best is Milan.”
You really have Milan in your heart…
“(Smiles) Yes.”
So as a kid, you had classic posters in your room and stuff like that?
“I think the first shirt I received was Kaká’s. I grew up with Milan…”
Would you say “Forza Milan” to MilanNews?
“(Laughs) I can’t yet, but one day I’ll be able to say it wearing the AC Milan shirt. Now let’s wait and see…”
The 21-year-old has scored nine goals and has added four assists for Club Brugge so far this season. His name ended up in the headlines after scoring against Barcelona in the Champions League, his first of three goals in the competition this term, including qualifying.
