Rafael Leao will miss yet another game tonight as his calf injury will keep him out of the game against Bologna at San Siro.
During his pre-match press conference on the eve of the game, Massimiliano Allegri admitted that Leao will not only be out of the game this evening, but he is also expected to miss the one next weekend as well.
“Leao has a problem with his soleus. Stretching or straining it doesn’t make any difference, it’s a complicated muscle. He won’t be available tomorrow and I don’t think he’ll be available against Udinese. I think we’ll see him against Napoli,” he said.
When Leao should return
As Calciomercato.com recall, Leao was injured during the first half of the Coppa Italia match against Bari on August 17th. A month later he is still sidelined, and it has therefore been a longer absence than expected.

As mentioned, Leao is expected to miss the match against Udinese on September 20th, and according to Allegri he’s also expected to be out for the Coppa Italia match against Lecce at San Siro on September 23rd.
Milan will probably be able to count on their No.10 on September 28th when the Rossoneri host Italian champions Napoli at San Siro. If that were the case, then he would have spent 42 days on the sidelines.
