CM: Atalanta ready to provide D’Amico with Musah funds – the offer expected

Time is running out in the mercato and AC Milan have a few deals that need finalising; one of them is Yunus Musah’s departure.

It has been a strange summer for the midfield. At the start, it seemed Tijjani Reijnders would stay, after words of reassurance from the management. However, he left for Manchester City. Since then, an overhaul has occured, yet it could be repeated.

Reports have suggested that Massimiliano Allegri is a fan of Musah, and only last year, the club wanted to gamble on the American. However, there has been a persistent threat that he could leave this summer.

Musah on his way?

Napoli and Nottingham Forest have been the main candidates, but it now seems that Atalanta will be the ones to get a deal done. Last week, they were turned away, but it seems they are ready to return to the table.

Calciomercato.com report that the Percassi family are ready to provide the funds to Tony D’Amico – who was a target for the Rossoneri this summer – for Musah. Whilst they are not expected to offer the €30 million requested, the figure could be met still.

Right now, the idea is that another €25m bid will be sent, though, they there is a hope to ‘meet in the middle’, pehaps with bonuses.
