AC Milan will have a task on their hands with the sale of Ismael Bennacer, and it is due to the will of the player.
This summer, there are several players who can and should leave Milan, and Bennacer is one of them. The midfielder has struggled for a few seasons now and should really be heading on his way. It is proving to be more difficult than that, though.
In an ideal world, the parties agree on an exit that pleases everyone. But, with Marseille pulling out of the race, there is no queue of suitors for the Algerian. Instead, it is proving to be a limited market.
Issues for Ismael
As Calciomercato.com write this afternoon, there is only one offer on the table for the midfielder: a €10 million bid from Al Ittihad. The Rossoneri are ‘ready to negotiate’. Though Bennacer is not interested.
He is ‘yet to respond’ and is seemingly ‘unwilling’ to move to Saudi Arabia, which the report deems to be a shock, considering his previous admissions. Meetings will take place shortly to find an outcome.

Of course, Theo Hernandez was formerly of the same viewpoint. However, he eventually moved to the Middle East. Perhaps, something similar can happen with Bennacer, but there needs to be changes quickly. If not, the Rossoneri could be left helpless.
