Ruben Loftus-Cheek seems to be a man in demand at the moment, and now interest has arrived from Turkish club Besiktas.
According to Calciomercato.com, the focus for Milan now is to add a defender after Niclas Füllkrug signed. On the flip side, several inquiries are also coming in for some midfielders: Galatasaray still haven’t received the green light from Youssouf Fofana, and Besiktas have come in for Loftus-Cheek.
Only a permanent sale
After initial inquiries at the end of December, Besiktas have returned to the phone lines for Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The Turkish club have re-established contact with the English midfielder’s entourage, with a salary offer slightly higher than his current salary at Milan (€4m net per year).
The player hasn’t yet shown any opening and the idea is for him to remain at Milan at least until the end of the season. Then, the former Chelsea man calmly decide on his future a year before his contract expires.

With Massimiliano Allegri’s faith in Loftus-Cheek confirmed, Milan haven’t opened the door to Besiktas, who are offering a loan with option to buy deal with the buy-out set at around €10-12m, including bonuses.
The proposed fee is very close to Igli Tare and Giorgio Furlani’s asking price, but the formula isn’t to their liking because they are not willing to consider offers other than a permanent transfer. This season, Loftus-Cheek has appeared in 18 games, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
