Bologna have made an offer to try and sign Noah Okafor from AC Milan, but it is not enough to get the green light.
Four goals in two games to make things clear: Okafor has returned to Milan from his spell at Napoli with the determination of someone who wants to leave a tangible mark. The Swiss forward has placed himself completely at Massimiliano Allegri’s disposal, without thinking too much about the future.
According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are of the mind that Okafor is not unsellable, but they still consider him a player with a clear value and not available for a bargain price in any way. Simply put: Okafor won’t move for less than €15-20m.
Bologna rebuffed
Bologna’s shortlist for Dan Ndoye’s replacement has Okafor on it at the top. Their director Giovanni Sartori is keen to swap Swiss players, and his admiration for the Milan winger is unwavering.
It led to an initial offer yesterday: a loan with an option to buy for a total package of €15-16m. The Emilian club are keen to make a major, international signing.

Milan’s response to Bologna was immediate: Tare will not consider offers for Okafor that involve a loan deal with no obligation to buy.The Diavolo would only sacrifice the ex-Salzburg star for a permanent offer of at least €18-20m.
And after his initial convincing performances this pre-season, it’s not out of the question that Noah could remain with the Rossoneri to provide Allegri with an additional weapon in an attack.
