CM: ‘In the spring’ – Milan in no rush to extend Pulisic’s contract with time on their side

Mike Maignan’s contract situation may have given many people a reason to fear. However, elsewhere, AC Milan remain in control with others like Christian Pulisic.

This season, no one has been more important than Pulisic. Of course, you could argue that several players have had big impacts, but the American is in the form of a lifetime, and there is no signs of him slowing down.

So after another goal at the weekend, talk of his future is rife once again, with a renewal seemingly sidelined.

No rush for Pulisic

However, this is to allow him to focus without the need to worry about his future. Ultimately, he may be at the club on his current contract until 2028. The official expiration for his deal is 2027, but there is the option of an extra year.

As a result, as Calciomercato.com writes, there is no fear from Igli Tare or Giorgio Furlani, who remain ‘relatively calm’. They are not rushing to get a deal done. With that said, a meeting is scheduled.

The hope is that the parties will meet in the spring to make an offer, with things currently being evaluated. Right now, it seems that the deal will be close to Rafael Leao’s, meaning a salary of near €7m.
