Ruben Loftus-Cheek is back in contention for AC Milan after struggling with a muscle strain since the international break.
Tomorrow, Milan face an important game against Atalanta in Serie A – an early chance to forget the draw on Friday. Of course, the game could have been worse, but the Rossoneri will hope for more. Massimiliano Allegri, especially, will have wanted to continue his side’s excellent run.
It was not to be, though, and whilst it is not back to the drawing board, it is a case of another newly promoted team grabbing all-important points at San Siro. There certainly needs to be a closer look at both results.
Back but won’t start
For Allegri, it will be made better with three points against Atalanta, who have been one of the most consistent teams in the division in recent years. La Dea underwent a transition in the summer, and with no wins in four games, they could be vulnerable.
The Italian must deal with his own issues, too, though. In the injury room, the Diavolo are still quite heavy, but they have been given some positive news today.

As Calciomercato.com write, Loftus-Cheek is back amongst the squad, and he can play tomorrow in Bergamo. However, it is unlikely he will start, despite Allegri’s desperation to have him back. There is no desire to risk him or force his return.
So, the Roma game is more likely for his first start back. Though he could feature from the bench tomorrow night.
