The situation surrounding Samuel Chukwueze is heating up and there is a real possibility that he leaves AC Milan this summer.
That is according to Calciomercato.com, who write that Chukwueze is highly sought after abroad. Not only that, but they add that one of his agents is currently in Istanbul for meetings with Turkish clubs regarding a potential move.
Besiktas had already made contact with Milan during the January transfer window to try and strike a deal over the Nigeria international. Now the Istanbul-based side are back in the thick of things, but the financial terms offered to Milan aren’t considered satisfactory.
Fenerbahce are also in talks with the former Villarreal player’s entourage. At the moment, though, these are only exploratory discussions because no offer has been presented to Milan.
Chukwueze’s stance
For his part, Chukwueze would like to stay at Milan and convince Allegri, but the club is open to hearing offers. The most likely option is Fulham, with intermediaries working to find the right financial terms, so news is expected in the coming days.

In a recent interview given to Milan TV, the forward made it clear that he is enjoying working with the new coach and that he continues to play with a smile.
“Coach Allegri is a great coach, everyone knows that; he’s won a lot in his career. And being here now, he wants to win trophies with Milan too. He’s a great coach; he knows what he wants. He works with the players, he knows how to interact with them, he knows what the players want and what he needs.
“He’s a great coach, both defensively and offensively. We just have to keep working with him and try to do what he asks of us. You can’t do things your own way; you have to listen to the coach. If we do that, we’ll get results.”
