The pursuit of a defender seems to have gone a bit quiet for AC Milan, but the management are still looking at potential options.
Calciomercato.com ask: is it a calm spell or a wait before the decisive mission? The goal remains to bring Massimiliano Allegri a new defensive addition who can provide solutions beyond Strahinja Pavlović, Koni De Winter, Fikayo Tomori and Matteo Gabbia.
The coach would like someone with experience and perhaps a good understanding of Italian football. No significant steps in this direction have been made in recent days because Igli Tare is seeking the best possible solution, both technically and financially.
Dragusin emerges again
Serie A may once again be a landing spot for Radu Dragusin, who was at Genoa before Spurs paid €25m to sign him in January 2024. The Romanian defender is recovering from a torn cruciate ligament.

According to a report from Tuttojuve.com, there have been contacts in the last few hours. Calciomercato.com add that Tare has taken note of his agent offering his client to Milan, but has decided not to pursue the matter further, at least for now. Roma are interested, though.
Milan are pleased with Koni De Winter’s progress and may even consider staying with him. Tare hopes to secure a last-minute move from Liverpool for Joe Gomez, while Federico Gatti is another option, but the defender is reportedly not so keen on leaving Juventus.
For the next summer transfer window, when an investment could be made, the Rossoneri are working on three fronts: Murillo from Nottingham Forest, Mario Gila from Lazio and Tiago Gabriel from Lecce.
