Niclas Füllkrug’s injury could see AC Milan accelerate to secure the signing of a young striker from Partizan Belgrade.
Calciomercato.com confirm that the Milan management are looking for a centre-back to sign in January, but the injury sustained by Füllkrug – even if it might only keep him out for 10 days – could also lead to movements in the attacking department too.
Kostic now, Vlahovic later?
An open front worth considering is the one for Andrej Kostic, a striker at Partizan Belgrade. Milan’s scouting team have long identified him as a highly attractive prospect for the future and are keen to beat competition from other clubs around Europe.
In the past few hours there have been contacts between the directors and the Montenegrin’s agent, Darko Ristic, who also handles the interests of Juventus player Dusan Vlahovic, a name that could become a hot topic in view of the summer.

Compared to the start of negotiations in late December, the gap between Partizan’s request and Milan’s offer (which is expected to be less than €5m) has narrowed, leading to optimism that a deal will be finalised soon.
The player will initially be included in Milan Futuro, with the possibility of being evaluated by Allegri as well, especially if there are more issues with the attacking department.
