AC Milan will sign Luka Modric today, though there is a lot that is unknown about his first day. So, a report has looked at the schedulue.
It has been weeks in the making, but Milan will sign Modric today. The former Ballon d’Or winner has been rumoured to be arriving for weeks, but during the Club World Cup, it was confirmed by Igli Tare and Massimiliano Allegri.
There are certainly questions needing to be answered about the midfielder: where he will play and how? However, that is something to question once he integrates. For now, it is all about how his first day will pan out.
Modric day
As Calciomercato.com write, he is expected to arrive in Italy around 11 am this morning on a prive flight from Madrid. From there, he will travel to the Clinica La Madonnina for his medical checks, and then a fitness test at the Centro Ambrosiano.
Straight after, it is to Casa Milan, where he will sign the contract with his boyhood club for a year, though with the option of an additional year. Tonight, he will fly back to Croatia from Milan, to start his holidays.
Before then, though, he will meet his new teammates and Massimiliano Allegri. A busy day, but expected for a player like Modric.
