CM: Musah to be sold to Atalanta this weekend – why there is a delay in place

This weekend, it seems AC Milan will part with Yunus Musah. It has been a summer of maybes and now he can go.

There have been several teams interested in a move for Musah, and this is not really a shock. After all, he has a lot of experience in top European environments, despite still only being 22 years old. Additionally, there is a profile to explore.

Ultimately, at Milan, it didn’t work, but that is not to say that the American can not go on to be a top talent. After all, not having a clear position for two years would benefit no one, more so when the role changes most games.

Musah’s departure

Despite wanting to gamble on him last summer, the club have been open to a sale this year, and the Rossoneri are looking to get a deal done with Atalanta shortly. La Dea have made two approaches now, and things could finalise soon.

As Daniele Longo writes for Calciomercato.com, it could even be as early as this weekend. The journalist states, via Milan Posts, that he will be sold after the Lecce game, with the Bergamo outfit ready to pay €25 million for the American, having reached an agreement already.
