CM: Nkunku for 60 and Ricci chance – the changes Allegri is considering vs. Lecce

AC Milan face Lecce tomorrow night, and there are several proposed changes set to be made by Massimiliano Allegri.

There is no overlooking the fixture against Lecce. Ultimately, Allegri knows that the situation is do-or-die, and whilst his team are flying in Serie A, he does not want a loss on his record. Especially in a situation like this.

Before the season, the coach revealed the cup was one of three aims, and no chance will that change before tomorrow night. However, there will be some changes, as you would expect with the weekend’s test.

Changes expected

Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot, who have shone for Milan so far, are expected to be given chances to rest each, whilst Christian Pulisic may also return to the substitute bench.

As Calciomercato.com report, Christopher Nkunku is ‘pushing hard’ for a start, and he will be given it. The Frenchman has 60 minutes or so in the tank, and Allegri is keen to see him in a starting role. He should partner with Santiago Gimenez.

Koni De Winter and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are expected to start for Strahinja Pavlovic and Rabiot, who both deserve rests. Whilst Samuele Ricci should replace Modric in the deeper midfield role. With that in mind, there are a few more changes that could occur, as the report states five or six could be made.
