CM: Not just Kristensen – Tare to watch €30m-rated Udinese star first hand

In a strange paradox, AC Milan struggling to score against Udinese tonight could convince them about two transfer targets.

According to Calciomercato.com, the match against Udinese is a tough early season test, and Massimiliano Allegri has put his team on alert. Igli Tare, while hoping for a Milan win, will also be keeping an eye on two opposition players.

Defensive targets

The report confirms that Milan are keen on Thomas Kristensen, as La Gazzetta dello Sport first reported. Milan scouts followed him live in his debut match against Verona and he impressed them. His asking price is around €15m at the moment.

Udinese seem unlikely to part with him in the winter window as things stand, so it might be a case of waiting for a summer move. However, there is another name that is on the wish list too: Oumar Solet.

Geoffrey Moncada wanted to bring him to Milan three years ago when he was playing for Red Bull Salzburg because he saw good potential. Today, he is among the best in the league and one of the most sought-after defenders on the market.

Milan will make an attempt in January but an investment of around €30m will be needed. An audition of sorts will take place in a few hours, and it could be a battle between the Dane and the Frenchman.
