AC Milan do not directly have their eyes on a Scudetto push, but it is a lingering thought, and Massimiliano Allegri has spoken about the idea.
With the start that Milan have had, there are naturally going to be questions about the Scudetto. They have beaten Napoli and drawn against Juventus, sitting in the top three and looking like one of the best teams in the league.
It is not as simple as aspiring for a league title win, though. Or maybe it is, even if it requires a lot of attention.
Near and Fantastic
Before the break, Allegri spoke to DAZN (via Calciomercato.com) about the requirements for the league title.
How many points are needed to win the Scudetto in the 2025/26 season?
“It’s too early to say now, but in my opinion, we need 86 to 90 points this year.”
“I’m not that happy. If we concede 25 to 30 goals, we’ll definitely be in the top two . Above 30 goals, we could be third, third to fourth. Above 35 goals, you risk being left out of the top four. But these are statistics from the last 20 years of the Italian championship.”

Based on their games so far, the Rossoneri will achieve 82 points this season if they continue at the exact same rate as they have been. Again, using the stats so far, they would end with 19 goals conceded, sticking at this rate.
They would be slightly short point-wise, based on the initial numbers, but things can obviously improve or go the other way. However, they would be in fantastic stead on the goals conceded tally.
