The son of AC Milan, Sandro Tonali, has not denied that a return to Serie A could be on the cards, bringing several questions to life.
When Tonali left, few people allowed themselves to not get carried away and immediately thought about a return. Of course, this was largely inspired by the fact that many thought he should not leave; however, he did. So, play the cards you’re dealt.
A return has always lingered for this reason, even whilst other clubs have shown interest and Newcastle United have publicly denied any chance of him leaving, at least for now.
The situation
This week, though, the latest reason to believe emerged. It was reported that he met with his agent on Monday in Milano, whilst he also added petrol to the fire by stating he would always consider a return in the future.

Calciomercato.com reports that his value is now at least €70 million, €11m more than what he was sold to Newcastle for. Then, there is also the fact to consider about his contract, he earns up to €9m a year in the North East, with his deal running until June 2028. It would not be an easy mission to bring him home.
Other interest has to be considered too, and Juventus currently lead proceedings. They are ‘most keen’ to add him to their squad. However, the report states to ‘watch out’ for a return to the Rossoneri. He has already expressed a desire to wear his favourite colours once again.
In England, Manchester United are keeping tabs, but whether that move would be made would have to be seen.
