Ardon Jashari’s arrival at AC Milan was greeted by a lot of excitement, but he has ended up on the sidelines due to a fractured leg.
As Calciomercato.com write, Jashari was one of Milan’s most expensive signings of the summer and certainly the one pursued for the longest time. The Swiss arrived at the Rossoneri with high expectations, but his adventure didn’t get off to a great start.
After the glimpses that Massimiliano Allegri allowed him in the first two official matches of the season – against Bari in the Coppa Italia and against Cremonese in the first round of Serie A – the former Brugge player suffered a nasty injury in training.
Jashari was injured in training before Lecce-Milan, as revealed by Allegri. The statement confirmed it too: “Following the injury sustained today, Ardon Jashari underwent tests that revealed a compound fracture of his right fibula. The player will undergo conservative treatment.”
His recovery time is estimated at around two to three months starting from the end of August. As a result, the midfielder will not return to action before November 2025.
In that month, Milan will face Roma (matchday 10, November 2), Parma (matchday 11, November 8), Inter (matchday 12, November 23) and Lazio (matchday 13).
