CM: When Milan will face Como after Supercoppa Italiana announcement

Como are set to host AC Milan on Matchday 16. However, the game will be postponed due to the Supercoppa Italiana. 

With the Supercoppa taking place in the middle of the season, fixtures have to be rearranged for teams to ensure they can travel, play and travel back after the competition. Given that the tournament is happening in Riyadh again, a longer period is required.

Earlier today, Milan learned the dates for the competition, which would see them play on December 18 against Napoli, and then on December 22 against Inter or Bologna, depending on who wins the other semi-final.

Como-Milan rescheduled

As a result of this, it means that Milan will not be able to fulfil their fixture against Como on Matchday 16 of the Serie A campaign, which is scheduled for December 21. Even if they were to lose the first round game, a three-day turnover is not enough.

So, according to Calciomercato.com, the fixtures will be rescheduled sometime in the near year. However, the games will be between the window of Tuesday, January 13 and Thursday, January 15, which is a free week.
