Alvaro Morata is currently stuck in a bit of a purgatory, and he hoping to return to AC Milan to move to Como this summer.

In January, the Spaniard departed to Turkey on a really weird loan deal, and this is proving to be an issue now for Milan, who have found a buyer in the mercato. The deal, it seems, is dependant on Galatasaray signing a striker, who is set to be Victor Osimhen.

However, until that move goes through, Gala are keeping Morata at the club, with the president stating that the Spaniard is ‘their’ player and they will not let him go for no reason. For this reason, the deal is held up.

Morata deal held up

This evening, Como’s president Mirwan Suwarso spoke to Sky Sport 24 about the striker’s situation and where a deal between the Rossoneri is up to and what is needed, as MilanNews relay.

“Only that he’s here. What is really missing? I don’t know, these are things between Milan and Galatasaray. We have an agreement with Milan and the player, now Milan has to talk to Galatasaray and we hope that Morata can be here as soon as possible.”
