Comotto states Spezia move is ‘an important journey’ for the future: “I will give my all”

AC Milan launched another young talent this summer, and he has already been loaned out to Serie B in the hope of regular minutes. 

There is something about Christian Comotto which is incredibly exciting. In pre-season he looked mature beyond his age, with a comfort on the ball which felt natural alongside his senior teammates. However, chances like this will not be present in the season; at least not regularly.

So, with Milan signing Ardon Jashari and the Futuro no longer offering as much of a challenge, the club opted to send him on loan.

Comotto’s welcome message

Rather than head to Serie C, though, he has been given a chance at the top end of Serie B. The Aquilotti should be fighting for the Serie B title, which will be an excellent environment for Comotto to be a part of.

Yesterday, he posted his first message to his new club, and MilanNews have relayed his words.

“An important journey begins for me and for my growth, both personally and professionally. I am proud to wear and defend the colors of this shirt. I will give my all every second for the good of Spezia and for our fans, in an extraordinary stadium that will be wonderful to see full. Go Eagles.”
