Liverpool defender Conor Bradley has been speaking about how impressive Florian Wirtz has been in training so far, with the Reds starting to see his quality more in games too

It would be fair to say that Florian Wirtz has made a positive impact on his Liverpool teammates so far since signing for the Reds from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer.
Wirtz, 22, scored his first Premier League goal against Wolves last time out and will be looking to build on that against Leeds United later today. Though that was his first in a Liverpool jersey, there have been plenty of hints of what he is capable of after a $157 million (£116 million) move from the Bundesliga last summer.
"I was buzzing for him," Conor Bradley told the Reds' official website when asked about Wirtz's first goal. "Obviously he's had to wait a little bit of time for it, but I was so happy for him.

We see it in training every day, how good he is with the ball. You'd rather have him on your team than not on your team, put it that way. He's terrific to have.
"You can sort of just give him the ball in any area of the pitch and he's able to do something with it and keep the ball for us. He's so important to have and we're lucky to have him."
Wirtz is still working hard behind the scenes to improve his strength. He appears to be in a better position now physically, though, than even a few weeks ago.

"It was very nice," Wirtz told Premier League Productions after scoring against Wolves. "The feeling on the pitch with the fans around [the stadium]... I was very happy and I liked it!
"I was confident that I would score one day. Of course, I wanted to start scoring and assisting earlier, but it was like this. I had to accept it, but I just knew that it would come, and I just tried to keep going like that."
On moving to seven games unbeaten and being back in the Champions League places in the Premier League table, he added: "That's the way we want to do it, we want to be there, and we want to be top of the table.

"It's not been an easy start for us, but I think in the last games we have been doing better and better and getting the points.
"We are just trying to win every game now and today we had the next three points, so it's good."
Liverpool.com says: Wirtz may not have the numbers to back it up, but anyone who has watched him in the flesh can see that every touch he has oozes quality.
There is no reason that he can't be the future of this Liverpool team under Arne Slot. His form in recent games has been really promising, but it is only the start given he has such a high ceiling.
