Interest in Dodo is ramping up as his future at Fiorentina is beginning to look increasingly uncertain, a report claims.

According to Corriere Fiorentino (via Calciomercato.com), the difficult negotiations over the renewal of his contract – expiring in 2027 – has alerted various clubs. In fact, the paper talks of a breaking point, which came when there was a delay in tabling a new deal with a pay rise.

La Viola are asking for at least €25m to sell the right-back.  Juventus and Barcelona have made moves, with Milan in the background. However, Inter have also been named as a candidate. Any club that wants him can pay his €25m release clause by July 15.

Having arrived at Fiorentina in the summer of 2022 – after a first year with 50 total games, one goal and 4 assists – Dodò had to deal with a torn cruciate ligament in 2023. After a six-month recovery, he returned to the field in March 2024, getting six assists in the last league season.

Milan said goodbye to Kyle Walker and will soon offload Emerson Royal, so they need a new starter on the right side. Dodò’s qualities could be right up Massimiliano Allegri’s street, with the Rossoneri having held a few exploratory talks.

The interest, however, is concrete given that Milan have been following the Brazilian full-back for some time.
