CorSera: Allegri watching Kostic transfer ‘with great interest’ – the emerging hope

AC Milan have been trying to unlock a move for Andrej Kostic for some time now, and the young striker could unlock a deal himself.

It is not a surprise that Milan are looking to add Kostic to the youth roster. After all, he has already impressed with Partizan Belgrade, and at just 19 years old, his ceiling looks to be tremendously high. However, his current club are very much aware of this.

Kostic wants Milan

The stumbling point at this moment is the price which the Rossoneri will pay, with the current €5 million offer deemed to be too low. As Corriere dello Sport, via MilanNews24, writes, this is not putting them off, though.

Igli Tare is persisting with the deal, given his knowledge of Balkan talent, but there is a hope that the price can be lowered. Kostic himself wants to leave Belgrade, feeling ready to take the next step in his career. So, the move to San Siro would ‘begin his adventure in top-flight football’. His priority is very much Milan.

Tare is not the only member of the club keeping a keen eye on things, though. In fact, Massimiliano Allegri is also reportedly very interested.

With his skill for launching young talent at the right moment, Kostic could be the next player on the conveyor belt. He is deemed one of the most interesting European prospects, and Allegri could help him take that next step.
