AC Milan could be given the benefit of two absences this weekend, with Juventus waiting to hear updates on two key players.

This weekend’s game promises to be a big one. Top of the table Milan against a Bianconeri side that have yet to lose a game this season. Then, there are several other stories that can be created from this game, too.

Injury doubts

So, with a game that has so much at stake, both teams would ideally come into this game in the best condition. However, the Old Lady may be forced into making some difficult decisions for the clash.

As Corriere dello Sport reports, late tests will be made on Gleison Bremer and Khephren Thuram, both of whom are doubts for the weekend, which is relayed by MilanNews. The pair did not play against Villarreal in midweek and trained separately on Thursday.

It seems those around Juventus are confident of their recovery, but it is reliant on today. 150KM away at Milanello, Milan will hope for positive news, especially considering Thuram could be tasked with stopping Modric.

If the Frenchman is not ready, Weston McKennie will be chosen, whilst the defence would remain the same if Bremer is not ready.
