A name to keep an eye on in AC Milan’s pursuit of a new centre-forward is Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund, a report claims.
According to Corriere dello Sport (seen below), the Danish striker is one of the names in the orbit as the Rossoneri try to find someone to put alongside Santiago Gimenez. In fact, their front page even reads: “Hojlund, message to AC Milan.”
It’s no secret that Milan are looking for attacking reinforcements and Hojlund is rapidly climbing the list, both because he is an attractive profile but also because of the terms that he could arrive on.
Loan formula possible?
Hojlund is not new to Serie A, having already demonstrated his worth during his previous spell in Serie A with Atalanta, leaving a strong impression because of his physical qualities, his pace, and his eye for goal.
His performances convinced the Red Devils to take a chance on him and they spent around €83m on him, but now the player’s agent appears intent on seeking a new position in this summer transfer window.

Milan are ready to seize the opportunity. Negotiations with Manchester United could take place over a loan deal with an option to buy, that would then become an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.
This formula would allow the Rossoneri to take a look at him before making it permanent while also being able to spread the investment, a financial move that would align with the club’s management strategy.
Of course, there’s no shortage of other ideas. Milan’s list also includes Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic and Paris Saint-Germain’s Gonçalo Ramos. However, United’s openness to the possibility of a loan move and Hojlund’s apparent willingness to seek new challenges could be a big boost.
