Christian Pulisic will be out of action for around a month and his absence, as the stats prove, weighs heavily for Massimiliano Allegri and AC Milan.
As reported by today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via TuttoMercatoWeb), the tests have revealed a low-grade tear to the right hamstring for Pulisic. New tests will be carried out in ten days, but it’s already clear that he will miss the games against Fiorentina, Pisa and Atalanta.
Milan are holding out hope for a return against Roma on November 2 or Parma six days later, but a more realistic goal would be the derby against Inter on November 23. In short, we are looking at about a month’s absence for the Rossoneri No.11.
Only two games
For Allegri, Pulisic’s absence is a massive blow in many ways. Not only has the American put in good performances, but he has also been decisive for his side in terms of goal contributions. Indeed, Milan have only won two of the seven games the American has missed since 2023.

Considering that this has been Pulisic’s best start to a season with the red and black shirt, the stat above probably doesn’t even paint the full picture. On the other hand, one would hope that Allegri has done a better job of creating a team, with worthy replacements.
The manager has certainly been put to the test this season by the injuries, with Rafael Leao missing for over a month and Ardon Jashari getting injured immediately.
