While waiting to see if Jean-Philippe Mateta is the statement winter signing for AC Milan, the management have decided to invest in youth.
Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) recall how Milan have completed three deals for three talented teenagers who the club hope could flourish in their youth sector and become pillars of the first team moving forward.
The first addition is Alphadjo Cissè (19), a second striker who arrives from Hellas Verona but is on loan at Catanzaro, where he will remain until the end of the season. The paper confirms that the Rossoneri will invest around €10m on him, showing the potential that they think he has.
The directors have also closed a deal for Yahya Idrissi-Regragui (18 years old) who has now officially arrived from Chelsea. The teenager plays as an attacking midfielder and had graduated to their U18s, after starring for the U16s in 2023-24.
Finally, Milan have also wrapped up a deal for Magnus Dalpiaz, the Austrian full-back arriving from Bayern Munich. In this case the operation is a little bit different: Bayern have reserved a buy-back clause so they retain a bit of control, as Real Madrid did when they let Alex Jimenez join Milan.
