AC Milan are working on two further renewals after getting Mike Maignan to pen fresh terms, and they are for two pillars of the defence.
As Corriere dello Sport (via MilanPress) report this morning, Milan are not finished after Maignan’s extension. The directors also want to tie Davide Bartesaghi and Fikayo Tomori down to new contracts for different reasons.
The good news is that the Rossoneri appear to be on track to reach their desired outcome. For the left-back, it will be a reward for his accomplishments so far this season. Having begun as an alternative to Pervis Estupinan, he has now become a starter under Massimiliano Allegri.
Back in May 2025, Milan renewed his contract until 2030 at around €600,000 net per season. now, with Premier League clubs circling, Igli Tare and co. are planning an extension by another year, with his pay more than tripled to around €2m.
The English centre-back’s contract expires in June 2027, and negotiations to continue with Milan are well underway. His €3.5m net annual salary is expected to remain the same and the ex-Chelsea man should extend until June 2030.
Also in the works are renewals for Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The former’s contract expires in June 2027, but Milan have a one-year option to extend it until 2028. The latter’s deal also expires in a year and a half, and the club are exploring options for a renewal.
