The weekend has gotten off to a good start for AC Milan, with their Primavera side recording another victory on Saturday afternoon.

In the last round, the Primavera were looking to follow up the 2-0 win against Cagliari in their third league game of the season with a victory against Frosinone. They weren’t able to do so, but Filippo Scotti converted a penalty in the dying minutes of injury time and the game thus ended 1-1.

This afternoon in Cremona, there was some good news as Renna’s side picked up another three points. Ossola’s goal in the 19th minute of the first half was enough for the Primavera to defeat Cremonese and secure their third consecutive unbeaten result.

At the Campo Amadio Soldi in Cremona, the home team confirmed their sluggish start to the season, falling behind after 19 minutes. Ossola capitalised on a weak clearance, controlled the ball, and beat the opposing goalkeeper with a low, left- footed shot.

The Grigiorossi threatened through Zilio and Patrignani in the 24th and 26th minutes, but both missed the target. In the second half, Ragnoli Galli missed the target from a good position for the hosts, then with 15 minutes left Bouyer made a stunning save to stop Sivieri.

The Rossoneri climb to 10 points in the standings, drawing level with Fiorentina and Sassuolo, who started the day with the same points total and are in fifth and sixth respectively.
