Croatia coach states Modric has taken Milan to ‘the next level’: “Exceeds all expectations”

Luka Modric has been a revelation for AC Milan this season. Largely because no one expected him to be as good as he has been.

When Milan signed the Croatian magician, there was hope that he could help to restore the Rossoneri. However, there were certainly a few doubts about whether he could be the player who conquered Europe for so long.

Those doubts have long gone. Few players have reached the same levels as the Croatian in Italy, let alone in the Diavolo team. A new role has seen him shine, and he is a joy to watch, making 40 years old look like a facade.

Dalic’s comments on Modric

Today, the Croatian head coach has spoken about his performances and how he has helped Milan so far, as MilanNews relays from Tuttomercatoweb.

“Luka Modric always surprises us. In Milan, he took the club to the next level. He always plays 90 minutes, which exceeds all expectations, and continues to demonstrate his strength, energy, character, and quality. If his health supports him, he will be useful to both us and Milan.”

It is hard to disagree with what Zlatko Dalic says. Even with a high level of hope, the midfielder has been much better than anyone could have dreamed. A true showing of being a class above.
