The Curva Sud have officially confirmed that they will be back in the stands cheering AC Milan against Napoli on Sunday night.
San Siro has given Milan a huge home advantage in recent seasons, but 2025-26 has been strange. Due to the Curva Sud’s protests, it has been very quiet during the games and considering that the atmosphere is usually electric, that has made a big difference.
There were reports from Sky and other sources claiming that the ultras would be back for tomorrow’s massive game against Napoli. Now, an update has come from the Curva Sud on their official Instagram account, announcing they will be back at the stadium.
“Aside from the rumours that have been swirling for days, this morning we decided to return to cheering at San Siro. This decision stems from the official return of banners, flags and pennants starting with the AC Milan-Fiorentina match.
“We’ve decided to start cheering again starting tomorrow night’s match, even though we’ll still be without our colours. We know how important and crucial organised support is for the team, and we’ve proven it this month, where away games felt like home, while at San Siro it felt like a premiere at La Scala. We are AC Milan!”
