The Curva Sud have hit out at Torino for their ticket pricing ahead of tonight’s game, also accusing AC Milan of being complicit.
The AC Milan ultras have been in the headlines quite a bit in recent weeks. There was the protest about ticket prices for the Juventus away game, the authority-defying display during the derby and their criticism of the club’s hierarchy over their silence.
Now, the Curva Sud have posted an Instagram story showing that away sector tickets for tonight’s match against Torino cost €45 while tickets for the away fans for Torino’s games against Como and Cremonese cost €25. They write: “Prices have doubled in Turin too, amid Milan’s complicit silence.”
Milan’s response
As MilanPress.it report, the club have let their position on the Curva and away ticket prices be known. Milan’s goal is to maintain an organised, healthy and legal support system, and the club has worked extensively with the police to find a balance on the Curva issue.
In the interest of its fans, the club have formulated a detailed proposal to ensure fair treatment by placing a price cap on away ticket prices, as is the case in UEFA competitions or other European leagues (e.g., England). This proposal will finally be officially discussed on December 12 at the Lega Serie A meeting.
