Daily Mail: Milan move ‘unlikely’ as Chelsea seek €100m+ for Jackson

Last night, it was reported that AC Milan making a move for Nicolas Jackson is unlikely, due to the ridiculous price sought by Chelsea.

There have been several names to crop up on the Milan striker shortlist, each with different ranges of feasibility. Reports in the past month have suggested that Viktor Gyokeres remains the dream, whilst Dusan Vlahovic’s likelihood has wavered.

So, other names have had to be put forward. One of the latest was Jackson, actually as an alternative to Darwin Nunez, who seems likely to go to Napoli.

£100m man

However, it seems near impossible that the Rossoneri will actually pursue a move for the Chelsea forward. The reasoning is rather simple, as Kieran Gill of the Daily Mail writes on X, the Blues believe he is a ‘potential £100 million striker’.

Of course, this equates to €115m, which is a completely outlandish figure for the striker, without even considering the financial capabilities of other arguably better strikers on the market. So, it seems unlikely that a deal will be done.

As a result, the Diavolo will now, imaginably, look for other options on the market. Reports this morning suggest that there is no rush to complete a deal for a striker, though.
