David Coote banned over video slamming former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp

David Coote has been handed an eight-week suspension over the videos which emerged last year, in which he used derogatory language about former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

The videos. which were recorded in 2020 but only emerged last year, cast the media spotlight firmly onto the Premier League official, who has not officiated since.

The FA has now handed Coote a mandatory eight-week suspension, while also imposing a mandatory face-to-face education program.
