DAZN: Maignan furious about penalty awarded to Genoa – his tirade

Given the circumstances of the game, AC Milan captain Mike Maignan was furious as his team gave away a penalty in the last minute. 

For a team fighting for the Scudetto, dropping points, regardless of the manner, is a disappointment, especially to the captain. Maignan’s future has always been linked to the competitiveness of his future, which is an insight into his mentality.

So, when Davide Bartesaghi gave away a spot kick in the final moments of yesterday’s game, he was expectedly frustrated, even if the call from the referee was dubious.

As the captain, he has the right to speak to the officials, but the manner in which he spoke saw him booked, but that was not the end of it.
