Derby against Inter and another break: tough November schedule awaits Milan

November has commenced and for AC Milan, it’s the start of a very tough run of games, including the Derby della Madonnina against Inter.

The month of October ended up being a negative one for the Rossoneri. In addition to injuries for key players, such as Christian Pulisic and Adrien Rabiot, Massimiliano Allegri’s men only won one game. At least they didn’t lose, but the draws against Juventus, Pusa and Atalanta were not ideal.

As such, Milan will be hoping to bounce back with a strong November, but the only problem is that a very tough schedule awaits. The big one is the derby against Inter, scheduled for the 23rd, while the game against Roma tomorrow should also be a very tough one.

There is a gap between the Parma and the Inter game, as you can see above, and that is due to another international break. This causes some anxiety for Milan given the injuries suffered last time out, so the medical staff will be on edge during that week for sure.

Allegri suggested during his press conference earlier today that Milan could block some of their players from going on international duty. Or rather, he made it clear that they are in close contact with all national teams to update them on the players’ conditions.

If everything goes to plan, then Pulisic will be back for the game against Parma, and the same goes for Jashari (who only just returned to training). Rabiot, meanwhile, could be back in action for the big derby clash.
